Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Claims Involving Wide Receiver the Athlete

The NFL franchise issued a statement on Wednesday evening indicating they are aware of claims of abuse made public in social media posts by a ex-partner of player the athlete and were in contact with the NFL.

The organization did not mention the player by name in their statement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

Allegations Shared on Social Media

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete by name, posted a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. No police reports were on file in Overland Park, Kansas where the incident is said to have occurred.

Rice's Prior Off-Field Troubles
