This is a pattern they grown used to; a private custom that assists the person "shut down" away from the racing thoughts that overwhelm their thoughts once their schedule ultimately slows down.

This experience represents something that I've been seeing at a growing rate in my practice. Working as a therapist, it's clear a significant trend: an increasing amount of individuals that are turning to drinking to manage their anxiety.
