Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield
An aircraft transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.
"The plane landed based on standard procedures and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer said in a public statement.
He was traveling back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.
This occurrence is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.
Months ago, a American military jet transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was required to head back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
